A small introduction...

While I was in my last year of school, I think I never quite understood what graduating and going to university really meant. Frankly, I think I didn’t give it much thought, nor did I plan ahead so much. Choosing a career was hard for me because I was torn between something that involved writing and heath sciences. I love writing and expressing my thoughts through words, analyzing and reflecting upon literature or just observing the world around me and understanding it. Yet, I finally decided to keep writing as a hobby, for myself. I chose to stay where I live and began university soon after graduating from school. My university experience so far is different from what many of you might have had and, now that I realize, different from what I wish I could have. I didn’t get to move out of my parent’s house, travel to a different country or meet people from different cultures. The environment is quite competitive and demanding, and to put it this way, the people are different from what I expected. Sometimes I feel like Holden from Catcher in the Rye in the sense that what I want dearly is love, true love if it exists, a true bond and not just friends who come and go or relationships so fragile that don’t last long enough. However, this is not about friends and relationships, it’s an introduction, so lets not dwell upon that so much. Soon after the excitement of been in university faded away and time passed by, I found myself in a spot where I didn’t know which direction to take, what to do with my life and after a year or so I’m still in the same spot. After much thought, I realized that time never stops, life doesn’t wait for you until you are ready to keep on living it. It's up to you to make the best out of it. So, finally, the purpose of this blog is to share with those who are in the same spot as I am, with those who were, and, well, with those who are interested in, my attempts to make the best lemonade out of all the lemons that life has given me. Also, I would love to read your thoughts, comments, and learn from your experiences.
